Oobit has frozen part of the EURR funds due to the StablR security incident.

Deep Tide TechFlow News. On May 26, the Tether-supported mobile wallet Oobit posted a clarification on the X platform. After “on-chain detective” ZachXBT disclosed that the stablecoin issuer StablR’s two smart contracts (EURR and USDR) suffered a vulnerability attack of about $13.5 million, the related funds had attempted to withdraw via Oobit, but its compliance team identified abnormal activity and successfully froze EURR funds worth six figures, while also closing the withdrawal channels. This incident did not affect any users’ funds, and Oobit’s own system was not compromised. Oobit is working with StablR and investigators to move forward with subsequent handling.

Earlier reports said that StablR was hacked, with losses of about $2.8 million, and that both EURR and USDR lost their peg.
