The Israel Defense Forces stated on May 24 that IDF Chief of Staff Zamir visited the IDF Northern Command and the IDF units operating in Lebanon, and approved the ongoing combat plan against Hezbollah in Lebanon. After holding a situation assessment meeting, Zamir said that the IDF continues to strike Hezbollah at all levels and will further intensify the attacks. He also emphasized that while continuing to monitor the current regional situation, the IDF will be prepared to engage in high-intensity combat at any time and further weaken Iran and its military capabilities.
