China Merchants Energy Shipping Announcement, the company received on May 19, 2026, a decision from the Shanghai Regulatory Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission regarding the issuance of a warning letter to China Merchants Energy Shipping.
Due to accounting errors in its wholly-owned subsidiary Sinotrans Container Lines Co., Ltd., the company's 2021 annual report, as well as the 2022 and 2023 semi-annual and annual reports, disclosed inaccurate financial reports.
