I only jot down one sentence in my notes: when the chain is congested, you think you’re “sending a transaction,” but you’re really lining up in the mempool for someone else to pick—if you don’t have enough gas, you’ll keep getting stuck, and even fall behind. And as a bonus, you might also get MEV front-run and sandwiched. So it’s pretty normal that people have been complaining lately about validators making money and transaction ordering being unfair… Anyway, if I can, I split my transactions into batches; if I’m in a rush, I treat it as paying tuition, and if I’m slow, I tell myself I’m really just a block of stone.
