🇹🇼 Taiwan has surpassed India to become the world’s fifth largest stock market by market capitalization. According to Bloomberg data, Taiwan’s equity market value rose to $4.95 trillion, narrowly overtaking 🇮🇳 India’s $4.92 trillion.

The surge was driven primarily by a sharp rally in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), which now represents more than 42% of Taiwan’s benchmark index.
🇺🇸 United States remains the world’s largest stock market with a capitalization of $77.96 trillion, followed by China ($15.57 trillion), Japan ($8.67 trillion), and Hong Kong ($7.26 trillion). Taiwan now ranks fifth globally, pushing India to sixth place.
