I was looking for where to invest money in the stock market here in Mexico, and honestly, there are more options than I thought. The key is finding regulated brokers in Mexico that truly give you confidence, you see?
The first thing that caught my attention is that the CNBV is the one overseeing this here. Basically, any decent broker has to be regulated by them or by international organizations like ASIC. That gives you security that your money won't disappear out of nowhere.
Looking at the options, Actinver and GBM are the heavyweights as always. Actinver has variable commissions, but if you move a lot of money, it becomes profitable. GBM is more accessible, starting with just 1,000 pesos. Kuspit is interesting if you're just starting because it has educational material and the minimum deposit is ridiculously low (100 pesos). Bursanet is like the younger brother of Actinver, but with cool promotions at the beginning.
Then there's Mitrade, which is more international, handling CFDs and cryptocurrencies too. Less Mexican but a good platform if you want to diversify.
What matters when choosing regulated brokers in Mexico is: how much does it cost to operate? What assets do you need? How much cash do you have to start? If you're a beginner, Kuspit or GBM. If you already know what you're doing, Actinver or Bursanet.
Security is the most important, so don't be dazzled by crazy promises. A regulated broker is your guarantee that someone is watching your back. Do thorough research before investing your money.
