In the current era of self-media, for ordinary people, content creation is the least costly way to change their fate against the odds; everyone can voice their opinions. This is from the perspective of content production.

However, from the content consumption side, the right to choose is in our own hands. If we cannot filter high-quality and effective information, our position is even lower than during the era of content monopoly.
In the past, when media was state-owned, mainstream thinking was promoted, and social stability was prioritized. Many low-quality self-media outlets did whatever they wanted because that brought traffic, and traffic meant money.
Therefore, if we are both producers and consumers, we must first actively find ways to provide high-quality content, and second, learn to filter and actively reduce noise.
