On May 19th, the spot trading volume of recycled copper was 950 tons.

May 19th, according to Mysteel's survey of 28 domestic recycled copper trading companies (including processing plants and traders), the spot transaction volume of recycled copper on that day was 950 tons, a decrease of 3 tons from the previous trading day, a month-on-month decrease of 0.31%. Upstream traders' quotes were relatively high, and in the afternoon, due to copper plant quotes not meeting expectations, willingness to sell weakened, with most adopting a wait-and-see attitude awaiting price increases. Downstream copper plants' raw material demand varied, with quotes showing divergence, and sources of supply becoming more concentrated towards manufacturers purchasing without tax. (My Steel Network)
