Abstract generation in progress
Laying hen stock continues to decline, inventory remains low, and farmers are reluctant to sell at lower prices. Currently, eggs are in the traditional off-season, with high temperatures and humidity increasing storage and transportation losses, and slow sales at the retail end, with only the Dragon Boat Festival stockpiling providing partial support. It is expected that prices will remain high and fluctuate within a narrow range in the near future. Today, the average egg price in Shandong, the main production area, is 9.05 yuan/kg, up 0.17 from yesterday; the average egg price in Hebei is 8.92 yuan/kg, up 0.15 from yesterday; the average egg price in Guangdong is 9.47 yuan/kg, down 0.20 from yesterday; and the average egg price in Beijing is 9.50 yuan/kg, up 0.20 from yesterday.
