I spent the weekend researching the best brokerages to invest in 2026 and found it interesting how the market has changed. People are entering much more now, especially after interest rates started to fall. Before, only veterans dealt with this, now anyone can open an account in minutes.
There were some brokerages I didn't know well. Mitrade is quite different, working with global markets like international stocks and commodities through CFDs. It has some really cool visual tools and allows practicing with virtual money before risking real money. But if you want something more traditional, there are the best brokerages we always know for investing: BB Investimentos, XP, Toro, Nu Invest.
XP has become like a synonym for investment now, right? But I think Toro has more competitive prices, especially if you want to do day trading. Nu Invest is also growing a lot, mainly among Nubank users. And there's Clear, which is really focused on the stock market, without much fuss.
What caught my attention was that almost all the best brokerages for investing now offer zero or very low commissions. Not long ago, it was too expensive for beginners. Now anyone can start with little money.
The market is very different from a year ago. With that foreign capital flow that came in January, the Ibovespa is rising, and analysts are talking about 180,000 points or more. That’s pulling a lot of people into investing.
If you're just starting now, it's worth comparing them. Each has its own advantage. Some are more focused on fixed income, others on stocks, and some integrate cryptocurrencies. The important thing is to choose one you feel comfortable using every day.
