Recently, I was looking for where to start with trading without breaking the piggy bank, and honestly, there’s way more than I thought. The apps for investing with little money have multiplied, so I decided to check out the most serious ones on the market.

I started with MiTrade because several friends recommended it. The interface is clean, without unnecessary noise, and you can start with as little as $20. It has integrated TradingView charts, tight spreads, and no commission per trade. Perfect if you’re just getting into the game.

Then there’s AvaTrade, founded in 2006, and you can tell they have experience. If you’re a bit more seasoned, they offer professional accounts with higher leverage. It supports MetaTrader 4 and 5, so those familiar with these platforms will enjoy it. The minimum deposit is $100.

Plus500 is another name that sounds quite familiar. It’s listed on the London Stock Exchange and has over 2,800 CFDs available. Plenty of variety if you’re looking for stocks, indices, currencies, cryptocurrencies, and options all in one place. It also requires a $100 minimum deposit.

XM is interesting if you’re looking for high leverage, up to 1:1000. It has micro accounts, standard, and ultra-low accounts, so there are options for different profiles. You can start with just $5, which is practically nothing.

eToro is different because it has that copy trading system that’s quite useful if you’re learning. You automatically copy what more experienced traders do. The minimum is $50, but the experience is more social.

The reality is that apps for investing with little money today open a lot of doors. Each has its vibe: MiTrade if you’re a beginner and want something simple, AvaTrade or XM if you already know what you’re doing, Plus500 if you want a wide variety of assets, and eToro if you prefer to follow others.

The important thing is to try demo accounts offered by all before investing real money. Practice for a while, understand how each one works, and remember that all trading involves risk. It’s not magic; it’s discipline and patience. But at least now you can start without being a millionaire.
