I just did a lot of research on apps for investing small amounts of money because I wanted to start with a small capital and didn't know where to begin. The truth is, nowadays it's much more accessible than I thought.
Basically, I found 5 options worth checking out. MyTrade caught my attention because you can start with just $20 USD and it has a super clean interface, ideal if you're a beginner. Then there's AvaTrade, which is more for experienced people who want to leverage more. Plus500 offers about 2,800 different CFDs, so if you're looking for a variety of assets, it's a good option.
XM seemed interesting to me because the minimum deposit is $5 USD (the lowest) and it has that very high leverage if you need it. And eToro... well, eToro is the one many recommend for beginners because you can automatically copy the trades of experienced traders.
What I noticed is that each app for investing small amounts has its niche. If you're just starting out and want something simple, MyTrade or eToro. If you already know what you're doing and want tight spreads, XM or AvaTrade. And if futures are your thing, Plus500.
Now, before putting real money into any of these investing apps, I would say practice first with the demo accounts that all of them offer. Most give you $50k or more in virtual money to try risk-free. That’s what I did, and honestly, it helps a lot to understand how each platform works.
Has anyone else here tried any of these? Which one did you find better to start with a small capital?
