Italian media: The Iranian president has ordered the restoration of international internet access

Golden Finance reports that on May 26, according to Iranian official media on Monday, citing an official, after nearly 90 days of internet shutdown, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has ordered the restoration of international internet access. It is unclear how and when Iran will reconnect to the global network after making this decision. According to data from internet monitoring organization "NetBlocks" on Monday, most Iranians have been unable to access the global internet for 87 days.
