These days, my group chat has been flooding with messages until my eyes hurt, with KOLs posting a picture and saying "Those who understand, understand," and I started to get itchy... Later I thought, who should I really blame for impulsively making a purchase? Honestly, it's myself. When overloaded with information, the brain just wants to find an "authority" to make decisions for you, and group messages and KOLs are just excuses.
I'm now treating it as practice: when I see trending keywords, I stop for 10 minutes first, check the blockchain for the most basic things to see if there's anything abnormal (especially oracle price feeds, delays, or if someone has been skewed by a single spike), and if I can't confirm, I just let it go. Recently, L2 has been arguing over TPS, fees, and subsidies, and during such times, it's easier to be carried away by emotions. Anyway, I’d rather miss out than realize during a review that I was blind.
