The Central Bank of Russia files a second lawsuit against the European Union Court over frozen assets.

Golden Finance reports that on May 25th, the Central Bank of Russia announced on Monday that it has filed a second lawsuit with the General Court of the European Union, aiming to challenge an EU regulation that allows the use of frozen Russian sovereign assets to repay loans provided by the EU to Ukraine. The Central Bank of Russia stated: "The EU regulation framework challenged by the Central Bank of Russia this time considers the country's sovereign assets as part of providing financial support to third countries, thereby altering the original legal and economic attributes of sovereign assets."
