Just now I got the itch to chase after a position again, but before opening the order page, I pause for two seconds: am I seeing some new information, or am I being driven by the emotion of that green turning red... Honestly, many times it's the latter. I used to be quite stubborn, often saying "I only look at on-chain data," and when the turnover rate skyrocketed, I thought it was hot, and ended up chasing the top; later I realized that on-chain data can also be amplified by emotions, so just looking at it isn't enough. Recently, everyone is obsessing over staking unlocks, token unlock calendars, and the selling pressure anxiety rings like an alarm clock. My current approach is actually simpler: cut the position in half first, draw the take-profit line, and if it can go, let it go. Don’t treat narratives as permanent security.
