When the funding rate hits an extreme, I start to doubt whether I'm just falling in love with my emotions again... Listening to the opposite side sounds cool, but honestly, it’s just betting that you can endure longer than most people. When volatility hits, all I can think about is “Will this bug cause my code to blow up?” So I usually have two options: either take a small position and go against the trend, admit when I’m wrong; or just stay far away and come back to write poetry when the rates aren’t so sharp. Recently, the testnet points system also feels similar; everyone is guessing whether the mainnet will issue tokens. I watch the excitement, but I still first revoke wallet permissions just in case. For safety, I’m willing to go the extra mile: before interacting with a new contract, I try it with a small account first, then with the main account. If it’s slow, so be it—at least I can sleep more peacefully.
