Reuters: Israel is being marginalized, Netanyahu admits it is difficult to influence Trump's decisions on Iran
Reuters reports that Netanyahu privately admits that Israel has limited influence over Trump's decision-making and is gradually being excluded from core negotiations. The US and Iran may reach an initial memorandum of understanding to restart the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for lifting the maritime blockade and to negotiate the nuclear issue, with Iran possibly handling highly enriched uranium under UN supervision. Israel remains cautious about the agreement, concerned that nuclear material and nuclear programs have not been fully addressed, and retains the right to military actions on fronts such as Lebanon.
