Xi Jinping meets with the President of Serbia to promote cooperation on transportation and energy infrastructure

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday stated during talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić that efforts should be made to continuously promote cooperation in transportation and energy infrastructure, and that new growth points should be developed by expanding collaboration in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, digital economy, green energy, and advanced manufacturing.

Xi Jinping pointed out that the current international situation is complex and intertwined; China and Serbia should continue to strengthen coordination and cooperation in international affairs and practice true multilateralism. The two sides should continue to firmly support each other, with China supporting Serbia in adhering to a development path suited to its national conditions.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang met with Vučić and expressed willingness to firmly support each other's core interests, deepen cooperation in trade, investment, and cultural fields, and advance key projects such as the Budapest-Serbia railway.
