- Carpe diem: seize the day
- Memento mori: because you will not always have forever
These are not separate ideas.
They belong to each other.
Life is fragile enough to be finite, and precious enough to be lived now.
Not later, not when everything finally feels aligned, but in the quiet middle of ordinary days.
