I just recently discovered that the Taiwanese dollar symbol (NT$) actually has a shortcut key for direct input, so there's no need to copy and paste. On Windows, it's Alt+N, and on Mac, it seems to be Option plus another key, but honestly, I haven't tried it myself.

Actually, it's not just the Taiwanese dollar; common currency symbols like the US dollar, euro, and yen also have quick input methods. For example, the US dollar symbol $ can be entered directly with Shift+4, which is super simple. But many people don't know this—they either type it manually every time or copy it from somewhere else. I only figured out these tricks gradually when I was doing forex trading.

Interestingly, the same symbol can represent different currencies in different countries. For example, the ¥ symbol is used for Japanese Yen in Japan, and for Chinese Renminbi in China. So sometimes, to distinguish, people write CNY¥ or JPY¥. The $ symbol is even more widespread—used in over 30 countries, with each country like the US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong having its own way of differentiating the $ symbol.

If you often need to input the Taiwanese dollar symbol or other currency symbols, learning the shortcut keys is quite convenient. It saves time and also makes you look more professional. How do you usually input these symbols?
