The UAE Petrochemical Company will establish a new export gateway on the eastern coast of the UAE.

On May 19th local time, Abu Dhabi Ports Group of the United Arab Emirates signed a cooperation agreement with Barlow Company, aiming to establish an alternative international export gateway along the UAE's East Coast. The petrochemical company will leverage Abu Dhabi Ports Group's port in Fujairah to open new routes, reducing reliance on the current route through the Strait of Hormuz. The agreement also includes joint research on developing infrastructure dedicated to polyolefins along the East Coast. (CCTV News)
