These days, there's been more talk about royalties in the secondary market, basically saying "Why should I support creators just by clicking to buy or sell?" I feel quite conflicted myself: on one hand, I understand that people don't want to pay higher fees, but on the other hand, completely zero royalties feels too cold-blooded, leaving only floor prices fighting each other, turning creators into workers for liquidity.

I've set a rule for myself: when I see words like "royalty-free, pump, buyback," I don't get excited right away. Instead, I first check who is actually turning over in the transactions, whether the order book is thick, and if there's a sign of a sweep to clear out the orders all at once. Especially now with AI Agents and automated trading everywhere, as on-chain interactions increase, the lively activity and genuine demand are more easily mixed together... Anyway, I prefer to go slower, rather than sacrificing safety and peace of mind just to save that tiny royalty fee.
