If the UAE actually withdraws from OPEC, the global oil market is likely to change dramatically; scenarios like fleets turning off lights and sneaking through straits are conceivable.

ADNOC continues to transport energy cargo through the Strait of Hormuz
According to ship tracking and informed sources, ADNOC transports oil and gas cargo from the Persian Gulf using its own fleet, bypassing the Iranian Navy and U.S. warships, and employing various methods such as “dark sailing.” ADNOC is carried out by Navig8, which is controlled by the shipping and logistics division, along with its joint-venture fleet; compared with chartering ships, it is more willing to take on risk to expand exports. Analysts say that if the UAE were to withdraw from OPEC, it could allow vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz under “closed signaling” to increase supply.
