This round of the attention economy, I finally understand it: when a hot topic changes, the wallet shrinks first. On Layer 2, every day it's a comparison of TPS, transaction fees, and ecosystem subsidies, with mouth-warring battles that seem to be about parameters, as if they can automatically generate wealth... I’ll just first make a small chart of "where the money comes from and where it goes." Without cash flow (transaction fees/protocol revenue) supporting the narrative, I’ll treat even the hottest trending topics as just hot searches.

Others think chasing hot topics is about information advantage, but in reality, it's often about emotional disparity—you get more excited than the market even a beat late. My simple method: before rushing in each time, ask yourself, "If subsidies stop tomorrow, what does this project still have?" If you can't answer, just forget it—less fuel for traffic.
