BlockBeats News, May 25 — According to Bloomberg, Sakura Internet Inc. CEO stated that to keep up with the growing demand for artificial intelligence in Japan, the company may need to increase capital expenditures to nearly seven times their original plan.

This data center operator is considering investing up to 20 billion to 30 billion yen (approximately $125 million to $190 million) in this fiscal year. Founder and CEO Kunihiro Tanaka said this figure is far higher than the 4.4 billion yen official capital expenditure plan announced by the Osaka-based company last month.
