Morgan Stanley: The global semiconductor industry market size may reach $1.5 trillion by 2030

Deep Tide TechFlow News, May 25th, Morgan Stanley pointed out that by 2030, the global semiconductor industry market size could reach 1.5 trillion USD, with artificial intelligence-related semiconductor products contributing a significant share. Major cloud service providers' cloud capital expenditure remains strong. Morgan Stanley's cloud capital expenditure tracker estimates that by 2026, cloud capital expenditure will approach 811 billion USD.

Research suggests that agent-based artificial intelligence has created a growing number of CPU application opportunities. As AI shifts from inference to execution, GPU computing intensity increases accordingly. The institution has raised the total addressable market (TAM) for orchestrated CPUs in the baseline scenario to 79 billion USD, with the market added value (TAM) forecast for CPU orchestration technology reaching 238 billion USD.
