Recently, I've seen people treat AMM liquidity provision as "just deposit and sleep,"

I've tried it too, but when impermanent loss hits, I realize that the curve is just reminding you:
The more volatile it is, the more you're like selling low and buying high,
And the spread is just giving away your profits.
Market making is really not a free ride; the small fees earned often aren't enough to fill the holes...
Anyway, I now just put a small amount in (last time I lost about $20),
Treat it like a slow-cooked soup, don't expect to get rich overnight.

Airdrop season is also quite surreal,
Task platforms make it feel like a witch hunt,
Point systems have a bunch of people grinding until 3 a.m.,
Watching it all makes me tired.
Honestly, I’d rather earn a little less, sleep half an hour longer,
Slow gains but a more stable mindset, for now, that's how I roll.
