【Caixin.com】 The “gold content” of blockbuster movies continues to rise. According to data from the National Film Special Fund Administration, in the 20th week (May 18–May 24), the country’s box office revenue was 780 million yuan, up 48% month-on-month. A Letter to Grandma has already become the box office champion for two consecutive weeks; last week it generated 560 million yuan, accounting for 73% of the share, which is its highest box office output week since its release.

* A Letter to Grandma* currently has a cumulative box office of 1.08 billion yuan, which has already surpassed Boonie Bears: Year After Year with Bears, ranking fourth on the annual box office chart, and is expected to surpass the Spring Festival holiday runner-up Inaudible Surprise in the near term, entering the top three for the year.
