Deep Tide TechFlow message: On May 25, BitMine Chairman Tom Lee posted on X, saying that FTSE Russell has released the preliminary list of additions and deletions for its index adjustments. Bitmine has been included on the Russell 1000 index inclusion list for large-cap stocks, with the stock ticker $BMNR.
Tom Lee said that Bitmine’s current market capitalization is higher than the large-cap inclusion threshold by $5.7 billion. He also noted that many active fund managers only buy Russell 1000 constituent stocks. In addition, the market expects that about 20% to 25% of a stock’s market value is held by passive index funds and ETFs.
