According to Bloomberg, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has delayed the release of a broad exemption plan for trading tokenized stock assets, which was originally scheduled to be announced as early as this week. The purported innovative exemption will allow certain institutions to facilitate trading of tokenized assets linked to U.S. stocks under specific conditions. SEC staff have completed drafting and reviewing the proposal.
