Over these past couple of days, people have been talking again about restaking and shared security—basically, taking the same sense of security and repeatedly using it as “collateral.” The returns look stacked and really tempting, but I can’t shake the worry that I might end up stacking my own illusions along with them… The moment I scan the staking unlock and the token unlock calendar, that anxiety about sell pressure rings on time like an alarm. Anyway, for someone like me who just wants to calmly collect a bit of interest, I’d rather make a little less than get tangled up in a bunch of nested “doll” schemes and then end up unable to sleep. First, hold onto the layer you can actually understand, don’t get led off course by the promise of “an extra bit of yield,” and even when you’re slacking off, there should still be a bottom line.
