I stare at the lending dashboard every day until my eyes hurt, and recently I’ve become even more anxious: you think "on-chain real-time" means everything is instant, but often it’s just that the node/RPC/indexing service you’re using is queuing... For the same transaction, I see it unconfirmed in Wallet A, but it’s already recorded in Browser B. A delay of a few seconds to several minutes is not unusual. To be clear, it’s not the chain lying to you; it’s the delay in the window you’re looking through.
So now, whenever I see “large transfers” or “exchanges’ hot and cold wallet movements” being interpreted as smart money, I first calm down: are you sure that’s not just slow indexing or cache not refreshed? One extra step I’m willing to take, though it’s quite simple: use two different RPCs on the same chain and switch browsers to cross-check. It’s a hassle, but it’s more comfortable than being carried away by false urgency. Anyway, I’ve had my share of failures, so I’d rather confirm slowly.
