Golden Finance reports that on May 25th, according to CBS News, informed U.S. officials revealed that U.S. intelligence shows that Iran's Supreme Leader is actually hiding in an isolated secret location, only reachable through a labyrinthine complex messenger network. Iranian officials authorized to cooperate with the Trump administration also face difficulties communicating within their own government system — this is a core reason why details of potential and past agreements with Iran have yet to be finalized.
Two officials said that when the U.S. sends proposal details, due to difficulty contacting the Supreme Leader, there is often a long delay before the U.S. receives a response. The White House spokesperson declined to comment on intelligence regarding the Supreme Leader's whereabouts or Iran's communication methods. Sources say that most Iranian leaders currently spend their days in darkness, staying in heavily fortified bunkers for weeks, and avoid talking to each other unless absolutely necessary. (Jin10)
