5.25 Morning Gold Ideas

Spot gold surges violently, breaking through the key level of $4,560 per ounce, with an intraday increase of over 1.1%, reaching a high of $4,560.03, rebounding more than $70 from yesterday's low of $4,488.83. Gold T+D slightly declines by 0.12%.

From a news perspective, today Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, and U.S. stocks are closed due to Memorial Day, with early market closing for gold, silver, and oil trading, leading to lower market liquidity and amplified price volatility; meanwhile, the market bets that the Federal Reserve's rate cut probability in June has risen to over 70%, the dollar index weakens, and combined with the recurring escalation of Middle East geopolitical tensions, safe-haven funds flood into the gold market.

Looking at the technical side, the 1-hour chart MACD has completed a bullish crossover, with the price effectively breaking through the previous consolidation upper boundary, indicating strong bullish momentum, but there is resistance at the previous high of $4,570–$4,580.

Finally, Teacher Yan Yan's trading strategy: In the Asian session, mainly buy on dips, lightly buy in the $4,540–$4,550 range, targeting $4,565–$4,570. If the rally fails to break above $4,570, consider shorting lightly, targeting around $4,550, and be sure to strictly set stop-losses and control position sizes. #黄金: #黄金
