NYT Investigation Alleges CFTC Purged Staff Over Trump-Tied Crypto Firms

A New York Times investigation alleged that CFTC leaders cleared hurdles for three Trump-tied firms while staff who objected were purged. The firms were Polymarket, Crypto.com and Gemini affiliate Gemini Titan. The New York Times cited two CFTC digital asset cases under the second Trump administration, compared with more than 80 during the Biden years.
