CryptoWorld News reports that, according to CBS News in the United States, informed U.S. officials have revealed that U.S. intelligence indicates Iran’s Supreme Leader is actually hiding in an isolated secret location, and can only communicate with the outside world through a complex courier network. Iranian officials who were authorized to cooperate with the Trump administration also face difficulties communicating within Iran’s own government system, which is a core reason potential agreements and details of past agreements have yet to be finalized. Two officials said that when the U.S. sends proposal details, because it is difficult to reach the Supreme Leader, the U.S. often receives replies with long delays. A White House spokesperson declined to comment on intelligence regarding the whereabouts of the Supreme Leader or Iran’s communication methods. Sources say that, at present, most Iranian leaders spend their days without any sunlight, staying for weeks at a time in heavily secured underground bunkers, and unless absolutely necessary, they also avoid talking to one another.
