During my lunch break, I went around L2 again. To put it simply, for ordinary people, there are basically only two compromises: don’t put yourself through a mental breakdown just to save that little bit of Gas, and don’t pay “tuition” with every operation just because the “mainnet is more orthodox.” For small amounts and frequent transactions, I basically stick to L2—I confirm quickly and then it’s done with a few clicks. If I really need to scale up amounts or I plan to leave things untouched for a long time, I still go back to the mainnet to handle everything in one go, so I won’t lose sleep later.

Recently, the whole “yield stacking” discourse around re-staking and sharing security has been getting pretty heated. I look at it and it kind of feels like a set of nested buffs… It’s lively, sure, but as for me, I only pick the parts whose process I can understand and where the worst-case scenario is something I can accept if something goes wrong. Once there are too many details—slippage, bridges, signatures—I instinctively take a step back and would rather go slower. For now, that’s it.
