Recently, people have started shouting again about “re-staking + shared security + yield stacking,” basically meaning nesting layers and getting addicted, causing a commotion like a market stall. My approach to airdrop interactions is simple: better to take less than to sacrifice yourself as free liquidity.
The most common reason for being anti-rug isn’t “the project is bad,” but you’re overdoing it: flipping across chains, signing a bunch of things, unclear authorizations, ending up like leaving your house key with a stranger. My method is pretty simple: only use small accounts, small amounts, avoid unlimited authorizations whenever possible; after interactions, quickly revoke the authorizations, like turning off the gas—troublesome but I don’t want an explosion.
As for FOMO… I treat airdrops like opening blind boxes, don’t see them as salary. When I see posters about “yield stacking,” I just think of it as adding three sugars to milk tea: sweet is sweet, but it can be a bit too sweet sometimes. That’s all for now; living is more important than taking screenshots.
