Recently, multi-chain wallets are becoming more and more like failed drawer organizers: losing some gas on one chain, then putting some NFTs on that chain, and when you need to use them, it takes forever to find... I’m now just forcibly splitting them: one “frequently used wallet” only contains the chains I interact with, and another “storage wallet” only holds assets that are not moving, with many fragments, so I don’t scatter them everywhere. Write the chain name + purpose in the notes, or else in a couple of weeks, I won’t even believe myself.

These days, after watching some mainstream chains upgrade, people in the group are guessing whether the ecosystem will move. I’m actually getting lazier about following it; I first filter assets based on whether I can clearly explain why I need to keep them. If I can’t explain, I treat it as noise. Next time, I plan to spend ten minutes weekly on archiving. How do you prevent your wallets from becoming more and more chaotic?
