Recently, I've come across a bunch of projects related to re-staking / shared security. The compounded returns look pretty attractive, but I always feel like this kind of thing is most likely an illusion... To put it simply, you think you're getting two sets of money, but in reality, you might just be making installment payments on the same risk. Plus, with testnet incentives and point expectations flying everywhere now, people in the group are asking every day, "Will the mainnet issue tokens?" I also get tempted to jump in and ride the wave, but my position is like a cat—stretching out a paw to test the waters, and if it feels wrong, I pull back and pretend to be dead.

Tired but still here, anyway, my current principle is: only get involved if you understand the chain of unbinding / confiscation / delegation. Don't lock yourself in as a long-term shareholder just for points. Make money and run, and if you lose... I won't say more.
