Bazhong Enterprise Signs $1.22 Billion Cooperation Agreement

The Office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan announced that Pakistan and Chinese companies signed cooperation agreements worth $1.22 billion (approximately HKD 9.6 billion) at the "China-Pakistan B2B Investment Summit" held in Hangzhou, China on Sunday.

The statement said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan and Zhejiang Governor Liu Jie jointly witnessed the signing ceremony and met with representatives from several Chinese companies, including Shengkang Energy, CATL, Star Charge, and CR Pharmaceutical.

On the other hand, the China-Pakistan Political Party Forum and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Political Party Consultation Mechanism Meeting, organized by the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, were held in Beijing with the theme "Building a New Era of China-Pakistan Community of Shared Future—Political Parties in Action." Leaders of 12 major Pakistani political parties, as well as representatives from think tanks, media, social organizations, and about 140 representatives from Chinese ministries, enterprises, media, and scholars attended.
