Recently, when everyone cross-chain, they’re always eager to催 “Why are you still waiting for confirmation.”

To be blunt, you’re not waiting on internet speed—you’re giving that bridge’s setup, the multi-signature + oracle chain of links, a little buffer in case something goes wrong.
If the multi-signature side gets anxious, swaps people, or there’s an issue with a single key, the funds aren’t just “slow” anymore—they’re “gone.”
The oracle part is even more ridiculous: if it feeds you the wrong data, you may still think your cross-chain succeeded—when in reality, you’re being set up.
New L1/L2s are starting to kick off incentives again to pull in TVL, and for veteran users it’s normal to complain about “mining, selling” too.
Once the bridge gets congested and confirmations drag on, the happiest ones are the go-betweens and the middlemen: the fees you saved might end up being someone else’s dinner.
Anyway, I’d rather go slower now—make sure the confirmation completes before clicking the next step. No matter how urgent you are, you can’t rush safety.
