Russia Adds IP Addresses to Crypto Mining Registry Rules

Russia’s Ministry of Finance approved new rules requiring network IP addresses in official crypto mining registries. The Federal Tax Service administers the mandatory registry system for legal miners and mining infrastructure operators. Russia has estimated informal mining tax losses at $122 million. Entities that submit inaccurate data or commit breaches can lose registry status and the legal right to operate.
