Recently I’ve been looking at a bunch of PFPs and various membership cards. They all sound pretty much like “long-term brand value,” but if I’m being honest, a lot of the time it’s really just short-term attention competing with each other. I even get pulled along by FOMO and a bit of confirmation… and then two days later I forget what exactly I bought. If you truly want to build a brand, it has to be something I’m willing to use again and again—and to show off again and again—not just something people hype about in a group for a couple of lines. Outside, people are still tying ETF capital flows and U.S. stock risk appetite to how the crypto market rises and falls, and honestly it makes my head hurt. In any case, when the emotions hit, you can explain anything. My take-profit strategy is still the same: if I can get my money back, I do; the rest is just ticket money to watch the show.
