I found that once people pass the age of 35, that hometown attachment becomes very strong.


When they are young, they are entirely eager to go out, with no provincial choices in their college applications, and later transferred to a local school within the province.
After graduation, they are wholeheartedly focused on finding a job in Guangdong.
They even seem to have very few memories from childhood to high school.
After surpassing 35, however, many memories gradually come back.
The Chinese people's sense of homeland attachment is truly ingrained in their very genes.
