Recently, a bunch of new L1/L2 projects have started incentivizing to pull up TVL, and old users are both rushing and complaining "mining, selling," basically treating experience and gas fees as chips.


I think ordinary people should just accept imperfection: when the mainnet is expensive, keep the "must do on the mainnet" tasks (large amounts, security-sensitive, long-term storage), and the rest can be done on L2 to save hassle and money.
I no longer chase explanations for cross-chain/bridges; as long as the route is smooth and the fees aren't too outrageous, that's fine.
Anyway, someone will always tell you there's a "better solution," but if you follow their advice, they might change the narrative again in the next second...
Let's leave it at that for now.
