Turkey expresses willingness to support the implementation of a possible agreement between the U.S. and Iran

Mars Finance News: On May 24, the Turkish Presidential Office’s Press Bureau released a statement saying that Turkish President Erdogan, during phone calls with U.S. President Trump and leaders of multiple Middle Eastern countries, stated that Turkey is willing to provide various types of support during the implementation of potential agreements between the United States and Iran. Erdogan said that Turkey has consistently advocated resolving issues through dialogue and diplomacy. An agreement to open the Strait of Hormuz would help maintain regional stability and ease pressure on the global economy. The statement did not mention when Erdogan made the phone calls with leaders of the various countries. (Xinhua News Agency)

Erdogan is quite skilled at this move, not offending either side and still wanting to act as a mediator.
