Zhou Hongyi discusses Elon Musk's bold prophecy: Will humans stop driving in ten years?

May 24th, Zhou Hongyi posted a video discussing Elon Musk's bold prediction that "humans won't drive cars in ten years":
I think Musk's judgment on autonomous driving this time truly reminds us that it's not whether driver's licenses will still be useful in the future, but that the next stage of AI won't be about becoming better at chatting on screens, but about becoming increasingly capable of doing work in the real world.
In the past, AI mainly changed the flow of information; next, it will change logistics, human traffic, vehicle flow, and even the operation of the entire physical world.

So in the future, will delivery couriers and drivers be the first to lose their jobs? The more I think about it, the more terrifying it becomes.

Information flow → logistics → human flow, this progression is quite interesting

Zhou Hongyi rarely gets serious, and surprisingly, there's some truth to it

Ten years without driving? I bet twenty years, and if I lose, I'll buy you bubble tea.

Old Zhou hit the nail on the head this time; the endgame of AI isn't the chat box, but the physical world.

Has Elon Musk's prophecy been accurate? But this time, the logic does indeed hold.

The physical world is much more complex than a screen; just wait until sensor costs come down.

Having a driver's license isn't useless, but driving would definitely become a hobby.

Ten years is too optimistic, but I agree with the direction.
