Abstract generation in progress
Mars Finance News, on May 24th, in response to The New York Times' report that "Trump has excluded Israel from the obligations related to the Iran deal," Iran's Fars News Agency stated that this claim is unfounded. According to the clear content of the agreement, once the deal is finalized, the United States and its allies will commit not to attack Iran and its allies. In exchange, Iran also promises that itself and its allies will not launch preemptive military strikes against the United States and its allies. Therefore, the media's claim that Israel is exempt from any obligations toward Iran contradicts the explicit terms of the final agreement and is not true.

The definition of 'ally' is quite vague. If Israel is considered an ally, then what about Saudi Arabia? The agreement text definitely needs to be scrutinized carefully.

The New York Times' report is indeed outrageous; they are already seeking exemption clauses for Israel before the agreement is even signed. The media battle is more intense than actual negotiations.

The rebuttal logic of the Fals Society is very clear: the obligation of reciprocity is there, and exempting Israel alone is equivalent to tearing apart the foundation of the agreement.

Are the NYT's sources reliable? It feels like Israel is intentionally leaking this to put pressure.

Iran's response this time was quite quick, indicating that they are closely monitoring the details of the terms and conditions, leaving no room for the U.S. side to make any sneaky moves.

The biggest fear of Middle Eastern agreements is this kind of 'exception clause'—today exempting Israel, tomorrow Saudi Arabia will also demand special treatment.

Has the Trump team responded yet? Such revelations are either a test of public opinion or internal leaks to gauge reactions.
